Anamaria Marina is an Romanian actor. She received the British Academy Television Award Best Actress award for her Channel 4 film Sex Traffic. Speaks French, German, English and Romanian easily. Her mother played the violin, Her father is a theatre professor at one of Romania's best theater schools. She was awarded the Best Female Actor Award for the Year 2000 in Mangalia's Young Actor Gala. She was named European Shooting Star by the European Film Promotion Board in the year 2008. She was a teacher in the University of Fine Arts Music and Drama George Enescu, Iasi for 4 years. bAnamaria Marina is a Romanian actor born in Iasi Romania on 1 April 1978. As an actress from Romanian origin, Anamaria Marinca made her debut on screen in the British-Canadian TV film Sex Traffic for which she received the British Academy Television Award for Best Actress. The debut film of the actress, Sex Traffic, won the BAFTA Award in Best Actress. She also won numerous awards for her performance in the film 4 Months 3 Weeks 2 Days, a Romanian film that was highly praised by London Film Critics as the best films of 2007. She starred as a Romanian actor in Cristian Mungiu's documentary 4 luni3 saptamani si 2 zile (four months three weeks and 2 days) which was awarded an award of the Palme d'Or and other prizes during the 2007 Cannes Film Festival. She also appeared as the child character in the film of Francis Ford Coppola, Youth Without Youth. She also played Yasim Awar in BBC's five-episode The Last Enemy miniseries. Marinca performed as Yasim in Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven, and in Boogie, the Romanian comedy Boogie. The actress later played a significant part in the film Fury which featured her as in the film Fury as a German woman whose name was Irma the aunt of Emma.
